Red Owl Collectible Toys
Today in contracts class we discussed that classic promissory estoppel case, Hoffman v. Red Owl Stores, Inc., 26 Wis. 2d 683, 133 N.W.2d 267 (1965). In connection with teaching the case, I did some research on the internet. Although I had hoped to learn about the history of the Red Owl grocery chain, that information mostly eluded me.
