Friday Frivolity: Elon Dean Gets Inked

I learned this week from Derek Muller’s Law School Docket Substack that Elon University School of Law Dean Zak Kramer (below) entered into a contract with his school’s 2025 graduating class. If they achieved an 85% pass rate, he promised to get a tattoo. They easily surpassed that, hitting 90.9%.

It’s a great move, and I’m sure the students appreciate having a dean who is willing to commit to their success. If I were him, I would have been tempted to offer to shave my head, but those savvy Elon students might have thought that wasn’t enough skin in the game. According to Jim Sands reporting for FOX8’s morning news, the tattoo is on Dean Kramer’s forearm and reads “1 & Done.”
