Jeff Sovern is a professor of law at St. John’s University School of Law. He is the co-author of a casebook on consumer law, editor of the LSN Consumer Law Abstracts eJournal, co-coordinator of the Consumer Law and Policy blog, and has written about consumer law for more than thirty years. His op-eds have appeared in The New York Times, USA Today, Boston Globe, CNN.com, and many other places.
