News from George Washington

Aab_27 Steven_schooner_5 Not sure how we missed this, but George Washington government contracts scholar William Kovacic (left) has been serving as a Commissioner of the Federal Trade Commission since January.  It’s actually Kovacic’s third stint with the FTC; he served on the staff from 1979-1983 and as general counsel to the agency from 2001-04.

Meanwhile, his sometime collaborator Steven Schooner (right) has been named associate dean at GW.  He’ll take over that job this summer.
