Posner on plagiarism

This past week’s discussion on the Becker-Posner Blog, for those who missed it, is plagiarism.  Judge Posner makes the interesting point that faculty plagiarism is (and should be) punished less severely than student plagiarism, because it’s more likely to be discovered.  There are as usual many divergent views.
