The U.S. Women’s Chamber of Commerce has filed suit against the Small Business Administration, alleging that while women-owned businesses account for 30 percent of U.S. businesses, they get only 3 percent of federal contract dollars. That compares with 7 percent for disadvantaged businesses (minority or ethnic status) and 24 percent for small businesses as a whole.
